The Essence of Music
Music is where the heart is
and every song has a view,
expressing our needs and emotions
as no other message can do.
For sharing the sweetest "I love you"
or screaming rebellion and tears,
there's nothing like music to help us
convey our desires and fears.
Music, the intimate mirror ;
reflecting who we really are -
exposes our true inner feelings
with pure sonic light from afar.
Words have the power to change us,
especially words in a song ;
they hurt, or can heal when we listen,
they help us feel we belong.
Nostalgia, heartache and romance,
lyrics to reach every ear
influence our daily behavior
because we decide WHAT we hear.
Music can also inspire ;
giving us hope to endure
all of life's constant bombardments -
The war between pure and impure.
Harmony hangs in the balance ;
only the pure notes survive,
What message is our music sending ?
What fills our minds and our lives ?
THE QUESTION
Why do we speak of Love as though it were a Dove
always in flight from here to there ?
Do we say " Love is grand, just reach out - take my hand
promise that you will always care " ?
Love is the question never quite answered
partially hiding from view;
Just when you find it, there's much more behind it
For, love gives life meaning anew.
When we complain and fight, life seems like endless night
trouble and sadness block our way ;
That's when we start to see how fragile love can be
simply because of words we say.
Love is the question waiting an answer

Nothing in life is free, though it appears to be -
everything carries a cost.
Giving your love away means more than words can say,
True Love can never be lost.

You know i can't forget you - dear Rosa of my heart ;
